Phoenix - Jean Grey

I did this DC characters deviation a while back, which was basically a collection of sketches I had made of... well... DC characters. Some people commented I should make one of Marvel characters... So I started colouring old sketches I had... and compositing them together... Most of those sketches were characters in pairs (DrDoom and Reed Richards, Captain America and IronMan), done with a cartoony humoristic way... Well, you'll see that one when it's done...

The point is I had a Jean Grey sketch with her traditional green suit, which I was planning to put in there, but in that great Morrison story we saw this Phoenix and it seemed to fit so much better than any of the other "costumes" she ever wore... so I just did this -and even though she will probably be in the Marvel Characters deviation I'm drawing- I thought she deserved to be seen on her own!

Basically, I liked the way it turned out even though it was done during a 15 minute break at work... And I hadn't posted anything in a while so... Anyway, let me know what you think!
